Pushpa 2 is shining brighter than a star at the box office. Allu Arjun’s action thriller is a force to reckon with, given its unstoppable run. In IMAX, Pushpa 2: The Rule has accumulated earnings of 9 crores gross. Mind you, it has completed only 12 days at the theatres so far. Allu Arjun starrer has already scored the third-best figures in recent times. However, the figures are not enough to beat Pathaan and Jawan yet.
In 2024, Shah Rukh Khan led Jawan knocked it out of the park, grossing a whopping 13.5 crores from IMAX screens alone in India. It left behind Pathaan (13 crores) by a small but historic margin.

Allu Arjun starrer is only 3.5 crores away from Jawan to snatch the top spot. There’s a long way to go in theatres, given it is enjoying a tremendous run even on the regular working days. Hopefully, Sukumar’s directorial will break this record before it wraps up its theatrical run.

In India, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has grossed the highest earnings on the IMAX screens. It garnered 50 crores+, a feat that has been unattainable for Indian films, at least in recent times.
In the domestic market, Pushpa 2: The Rule has made a total box office collection of 940.75 crores net in India in 12 days. It has made 28 crores in India, inclusive of all languages.
At the worldwide box office, Sukumar’s directorial stands at 1367.08 crores gross. It will cross the 1400 crore mark today.
