Pushpa 2 to withstand Singham’s roar to match Baahubali 2’s magic?
Both Pushpa 2 and Singham Again are releasing on the 15th of August this year. Just like the Pushpa sequel, there’s a huge buzz for Singham Again, too. Ajay’s Singham character is a cult among Hindi audiences, and even it has huge potential at the box office. So, there will be a huge competition in the Hindi belt, where the two franchise films will collide.
In such a situation, the chances of matching the box office performance of Baahubali 2’s Hindi version look very tough. For those who don’t know, the Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali 2 did a business of 511 crores, and it’s the only Hindi dubbed South film to enter the 500 crore club.
Pushpa 2 (Hindi) could hit the 500 crore milestone if it enjoys a solo release. But never say never, as we have seen in the past, that films have done unthinkable things at the box office.
