The first quarter of 2024 has turned out to be glorious for the Malayalam film industry. While other South industries are struggling due to inconsistency, Mollywood is delivering winners one after another. A few days back, Manjummel Boys entered the 100 crore club at the worldwide box office, and now, Premalu has achieved the feat. Keep reading to know more!

Premalu gets a boost due to the Telugu version

Directed by Girish A.D., the romantic comedy is enjoying repeat audiences due to its lighthearted content, and even the release of the Telugu dubbed version has turned out to be a boon. Earlier, due to a slower pace, it was very tough for the film to enter the 100 crore club, but all thanks to the Telugu dubbed version, it has accomplished the mission.

Premalu dominates the worldwide box office!

As per the latest update, Premalu has completed a run of 32 days in theatres. In this journey, it has amassed an impressive 52.50 crores net at the Indian box office. In gross, it equals 61.95 crores. In the overseas market, too, the film has put on a solid performance by raking in 38.10 crores gross. After combining Indian and overseas gross, the total collection stands at 100.05 crores gross at the worldwide box office.

With 100.05 crores gross, Premalu has become the 5th Malayalam film to enter the 100 crore club at the worldwide box office, and currently, it holds the 5th spot on the list. Take a look below:
