Post 2nd Weekend, Alia’s 2 States Beats Her Debut SOTY’s Lifetime Collections

2 States is certainly proving to be one of 2014’s Biggest successful venture. The film starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor has got rave reviews and was received very well by the audiences. After completing its 2nd weekend run, the film now stands with a collection of 76 crores at the domestic box office.

Interestingly, the collections of 2 States have now crossed the lifetime collections of Alia Bhatt’s debut film Student Of The Year, which had made a total nett India business of 70 crores. With this, 2 States is now the third Highest Grosser of 2014. It has beaten the collection of Kangana Ranaut’s Queen which until now stood strong at the 3rd position.

The film has been performing extremely well over the week and is expected to keep up this trend. Considering that the film will be adding more moolah over the week, 2 States will soon be beating Arjun Kapoor’s Gunday collections. Gunday is currently the second highest grosser of 2014 with a collection of 76.55 crores.
