Deepika Padukone starrer Piku has been performing excellently at the box office. The film after having a smashing first week, the film remained strong over the second weekend too. On its second Monday, the film collected 2.60 crores which is quite decent since it is still higher than the new release Bombay Velvet in spite of having a higher screen count. The film now stands with a total collection of 58.62 crores.

The film is riding high on a positive word of mouth and in fact has a good repeat audience too. Interestingly, the film also opened big in the overseas market and is still going strong internationally. Since Bombay Velvet failed to appease the audiences, Piku benefited from it.
