This is humongous and only next to Brahmastra in the post-pandemic era, if only Bollywood films are considered. Speaking about the opening day collections, Ranbir Kapoor’s film is bound to be crossed but everyone is excited to see if YRF’s actioner crosses KGF 2’s Hindi version.
KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) earned 53.95 crores on day 1 and it’s the biggest opening for a Hindi film. Considering KGF 2 was a holiday release, it’s difficult to be crossed by Pathaan, which is releasing on a regular day. In national cinema chains (PVR, INOX & Cinepolis), 2 days before its release, KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) had sold 2.40 lakh tickets for day 1. On the other hand, Pathaan is already ahead as till yesterday, it had sold 2.51 lakh tickets in national cinema chains for the opening day. Isn’t it exciting?
