When Anushka Sharma announced her third production venture to be a horror film, everyone predicted it to be a great gamble. Pari, since its release has been playing its game on lower levels by staying steady at the box office.

No huge jumps, no drastic drops, Anushka Sharma’s Pari has been attracting its fan base which has still worked for the film. Though, given the love of Indian audiences for Hollywood horror flicks, one predicted the same for Pari.

The movie has crossed the 20 crore mark in its week one. Though the trending is low, but till now it’s stable. It has collected 1.73 crores on its 1st Wednesday. The grand total of the movie till now is 21.08 crores.

The project, which also stars Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee, has been directed by debutant Prosit Roy. Pari is jointly produced by Anushka’s Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment.

This is Anushka’s third project as a producer, NH10 and Phillauri were her previous productions. Pari is shot in Mumbai and Kolkata.

Anushka, who tied the knot to star cricketer Virat Kohli in December 2017 in an intimate wedding in Tuscany, is busy with Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan and Aanand L. Rai’s Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan.
