Despite Aiyaary and Black Panther, Akshay Kumar’s PadMan is staying stable at the box office. After Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary last week hit the theatres, everyone thought that PadMan would take a back seat.
But surprisingly, PadMan didn’t get affect with Aiyaary’s release. Apart from these films, PadMan is also facing a roadblock from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
Akshay Kuma and R Balki’s PadMan has crossed the 75 crore mark at the box and now it’s inching closer to the 80 crore mark. The film has made on a controlled budget of 37 crores and the numbers have helped the makers as PadMan has entered the list of most profitable movies of 2018.
PadMan has collected 1 crore on its 2nd Thursday. The film now stands at the grand total of 76.65 crores. If the film continues to do well, it might get entered in the 100 crore club.

But this week, Kartik Aaryan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Sonakshi Sinha’s Welcome to New York has hit the theatres. So it looks a bit difficult for PadMan to remain stable in its 3rd week.
After the huge success of PadMan, Akshay is collaborating again with KriArj entertainment. Confirming the same, Prernaa Arora said, “Yes, KriArj is lucky enough to be doing our fourth film with Akshay Kumar. After Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and PadMan, my partner Arjun N Kapoor and I have established a fabulous rapport with Akshay. We are willing to go along with any project that Akshay sir wants. Akshay sir has discussed a particular idea with us. And we are all for it.”
