Padmaavat Box Office: The Film Remains Rock Steady!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the whole team of Padmaavat would be sighing in huge relief. The film has successfully stolen our hearts and it has managed to spread its magic all over now.

This Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer is in no mood to apply brakes at the box office.

Right from its paid previews, Padmaavat has gone on to become a sensation! The film has collected 1.55 crores on Monday which takes its grand total to 278.05 crores. With this speed, it won’t take time for Padmaavat to enter the 300 crore club. Every now and then, the film is crossing some or other milestones.

It has become Shahid Kapoor’s first 100 as well as 200 crore film and it also has become Ranveer and Deepika’s highest grossing film of all time.

Earlier, speaking about the success of the film, Deepika Padukone says that she is yet to celebrate the success and feels the success story is not over as yet. She said, “I think for me, Ranveer’s contribution in the film as well as Shahid’s contribution, is something that I will always cherish. I think it was very gracious of them to give so much to this film and I am so happy that together we get to celebrate the success but like I said, it’s not over as in the weekend more people will go to watch our film.”

Asked about how she is celebrating the success of Padmaavat, she said, “To be really honest, I think there hasn’t been any time to celebrate the success because there is so much happening right now. Of course, it is the time for celebration.”
