Padmaavat Box Office: The Film Gets Good Numbers On Its 3rd Wednesday!

Padmaavat box office collection is no mood to apply any brake as crores are adding up to its total with every passing day. Post crossing the 260 crore mark, the movie’s ultimate target will surely be entering the 300 crore club.

Padmaavat helped Shahid Kapoor to directly become a prestigious member of the 200 crore club skipping the first milestone of 100 crores. Crossing Bajirao Mastani it went on to become Ranveer Singh’s highest grossing movie of all time. Last but not the least it also surpassed the lifetime collections of Deepika Padukone’s highest grossing movie Chennai Express.

Yes, controversy surely came handy to build up the buzz for the movie but the major credit goes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for visioning such magnum spectacle. The movie has collected 4.50 crores on Wednesday and now stands at the grand total of 265.25 crores. Just few crores away from that magical 300 figure, the movie has surpassed the PadMan challenge.

This week Padmaavat will face competition from Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaary. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, this thriller was a Republic Day treat but got delayed for some obvious reasons. What it was supposed to be PadMan VS Aiyaary on 26th January changed to Padmaavat VS PadMan.

Even Akshay moved his PadMan to the date Aiyaary shifted. Post PadMan coming on Aiyaary Day, Neeraj Pandey decided to shift the movie again by a week. But finally it’s coming and a surprise in Padmaavat still awaits for Aiyaary.
