Padmaavat 1st Monday Early Trends: Carving Its Way Of Being A HUGE HIT

Padmaavat has been carving its way of being a movie not only loved by critics but also by the audience. All the leads in Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor are on cloud 9 with the kind of success the movie has been getting at the box office.

Monday has always been a key-day in the case to measure the trend of any film and Padmaavat has passed this with flying colours. The movie post collecting 114 crores in its long extended weekend has went on to stay high at the box office. It has collected in the range of 15-16 crores on its 1st Monday at the box office.

If the early trends hits the bull’s eye, the movie is all set to hit the 130 crore mark by its 1st Monday. The collections become even more special because given the situation of protests against the movie in major parts of the country. When it’s hitting the box office with full throttle, there still are various parts of the country where the movie has been banned.

When the movie has been appreciated for its every performance, Ranveer Singh has been the talk of the town for his dark & villainous performance in the movie. For Ranveer, along with the acclaim that his portrayal of Delhi Sultan Alauddin Khilji has brought to him, the film has spelt success at the Box Office as it delivered his career-best opening on Day 1 — 19 crores.

His biggest single-day collection of 32 crores was registered on the Republic Day on January 26. And Padmaavat has also marked his fastest 100-crore mark in four days.

Padmaavat since its release on January 25 has been minting huge at the box office despite some states deciding against its screening in view of protests by Shri Rajput Karni Sena.

The actor’s past films which crossed the 100-crore mark include Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela, both helmed by Bhansali.
