Oppenheimer Box Office (North America): Cillian Murphy Starrer Is Now 5th Highest-Grossing R-Rated Film Of All Time!

Nolan’s brand value, of course, played a major role in the film’s success. As of now, the magnum opus stands at a glorious collection of $957.55 million globally.

Oppenheimer achieves a domestic milestone

Oppenheimer got a boost due to the awards season, and it is still playing in over 200 theatres at the North American box office. Currently running in the 32nd week, the film reached the collection of $329 million. With this, it has surpassed 2007’s IT ($328.9 million) to become the fifth highest-grossing R-rated film of all time in the domestic market.

The Oscar 2024 ceremony is scheduled to take place on 10th March, and if Oppenheimer scores a major victory, it might get a big theatrical push at the North American box office, with a tremendous increase in screen count.
