In 2024, except for HanuMan, no Tollywood release has worked brilliantly as such at the worldwide box office. If not huge, there were some expectations from Operation Valentine, but the film failed to fly high. Shockingly, right on the opening day itself, the verdict of disaster was out, and after the opening week, the film added negligible numbers to its total. Keep reading to know more!
Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, the action thriller was released on 1st March. Upon its arrival, the film opened to highly negative reviews from critics and among audiences, too, reactions were extremely poor. As a result, the growth in the collection was completely missing, and the opening week ended below the mark of 10 crores.

Coming to the final collection update, Operation Valentine has wrapped up its Indian theatrical run by earning just 10 crores net, which equals 11.80 crores in gross. In the overseas market, the film was a washout as it failed to even hit the 1 crore mark. It is learned that the thriller did a business of just 0.60 crore gross. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the total stands at 12.40 crores gross at the worldwide box office.

Even though the exact figure is not known, it is reported that the budget of Operation Valentine is around 40 crores. So, if we compare this number with the domestic collection of 10 crores, the film is miles away from recovering its cost, and it speaks volumes about the kind of disaster this Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar starrer has turned out to be.
Varun Tej has been struggling to find momentum at the box office with his solo releases for quite a long time now. Despite moderate budgets, his films are struggling to even recover their cost of production. His Gandeevadhari Arjuna was a box office disaster. Even his Ghani didn’t do well.
