Closely inspired by the French film Apres Vous, it is a delightful surprise that Nautanki Saala is appearing relevant to the Indian audiences. Focussed mainly on the uber, metropolitan, multiplex infesting audiences, the film in steadily moving strong, doing adequate business at the Domestic Box Office.
Rohan Sippy’s film starring Ayushmann Khuranna and Kunal Roy Kapoor earned 13.25 crore rupees by the end of its first weekend, woke up to a promising start at the box office this week. Given Ayushmann’s popularity at the wake of his last film Vicky Donor, which showered him with praises and awards, not to forget adulation, he continues to be the driving element of the film’s revenue even now.
On Monday, the film collected 2.50 crore rupees, saw a 30% drop merely which seems to be a favorable sign. Though the ongoing IPL season in turning it rocky for most films to do good business, the positive part would definitely be the lazy summers, which makes for a perfect time to watch films! The movie now stands at a Domestic total of about 15.75 Crores at the Box Office.
The film is expected to rake up a substantial stable amount gradually this week and the one to come.
