Emraan Hashmi starrer Mr. X started off low but eventually pulled off decent weekend. The film which is a 3D film with Emraan Hashmi gaining special invisibility powers and turning into a superhero vigilante. On its 1st Sunday, Mr X collected 5.10 crores. The film collected 13.99 crores on its opening weekend at the domestic box office.

The opening weekend collection for Mr. X is lower than Emraan’s last film Raja Natwarlal which had collected 17 crores. In spite of that, the film has entered the Top 10 Highest Opening Weekend of the year and stands on the 10th position. The film has a scope to perform decently over the week days too considering it is a vacation time and schools are shut, it can cash in on the younger age group audiences.
