The Independence Day clash of Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House is turning out to be bigger than anyone would have expected. But as of now, it seems like Akki is winning it single-handedly by raking in some record-breaking business. In fact, Mission Mangal 3-day total has left behind several biggies like Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale and Raees, who faced a big clash.

Mission Mangal has earned an amount of 70.02 crores in just 3 days, which is highest ever for any Bollywood movie facing a clash. On the other hand, Batla House has earned 35.29 crores.

Dilwale VS Bajirao Mastani (2015)

It was one of the highly anticipated clashes of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale dominated Ranveer’s Bajirao Mastani over first three days by scoring 65.09 crores. Bajirao Mastani earned 46.77 crores.

Raees VS Kaabil (2017)

This time it was Shah Rukh Khan taking on his friend Hrithik Roshan at the box office. Raees managed to collect 59.83 crores in the first three days, while Kaabil ended up earning 38.87 crores.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan VS Son Of Sardaar (2012)

Once again Shah Rukh Khan starrer in the list but with a different opponent, Ajay Devgn. In this clash, Jab Tak Hai Jaan accumulated a total of 49.22 crores and Son Of Sardaar earned 39.15 crores, in first three days.

Gold VS Satyameva Jayate (2018)

Both the movies opened terrifically despite a clash but dipped tremendously from the following days onward. Gold collected 43.45 crores, while Satyameva Jayate added 37.62 crores in 3 days.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil VS Shivaay (2016)

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil enjoyed a benefit of its chartbuster music over Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay by raking 35.60 crores. Shivaay made 28.56 crores in 3 days.
