Mission Mangal has done wonders at the Box Office as the film has come much ahead of what was expected from it before release.
After an excellent first week, the film showed Blockbuster trending in the second weekend thanks to the Janamashtmi holiday’s benefit.
Mission Mangal earned 7.83 crores on second Friday, jumped on second Saturday to earn 13.32 crores and 15.30 crores again on second Sunday making a total of 36.45 crores in the second weekend and taking the 11-day total business to 164.61 crores.

The Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan led film has now beaten 3 more big films at the Box Office i.e. Tanu Weds Manu Returns (152 crores), Kesari (153 crores), Total Dhamaal (154.30 crores) & Dabangg 2 (158.50 crores) thus being 25th Bollywood Highest Grosser of All Time and 4th Bollywood Highest Grosser of 2019.

The film is now targetting the lifetime business of films like Baaghi 2 (165 crores) & Bang Bang (169 crores) which it will achieve in the next couple of days or so.
Meanwhile, Mission Mangal turned ‘Mission Makhan’ in the latest tribute paid by dairy company Amul India. One of the film’s actresses Taapsee Pannu found the buttery twist “cool”.

Amul gave a shout out to the film, which is based on the Indian Space Research Organisation’s successful mission to Mars.
“Amul Topical: Bollywood hit on scientists of ISRO who contributed to Mars Orbiter Mission!,” read the caption of the image that has a woman and man with ID cards around their necks and having bread with butter sliding on it.
