Join UsMardaani 2 Box Office: And finally, Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 2 is proving its potential at the ticket windows after taking a fair enough start on day 1. On the first day, the movie made 3.80 crores, here’s how much it is heading for the second day.
As per the early trends flowing in for day 2, Mardaani 2 has collected 6.60-7.10 crores, thus taking its total in the range of 10.40-10.90 crores. The movie has a high chance of pulling off a double-digit score today.
Mardaani 2 is mainly working in metros despite facing stiff competition from Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji: The Next Level.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji, who plays a cop in “Mardaani 2“, has urged women of the country to join the police force in large numbers.
“I want more and more girls and women of our country to choose the police department as their profession because personally as a citizen of this country, I feel that there aren’t better police officers than female police officers,” said Rani, at a special screening of “Mardaani 2” for female officers of Maharashtra Police in Mumbai.

The film is a sequel to the 2014 film “Mardaani” with Rani reprising her role of Superintendent of Police Shivani Roy. The new film is set in Kota, Rajasthan, and it revolves around Shivani trying to nab a 21-year-old villain played by Vishal Jethwa.
“Mardaani 2” is directed by Gopi Puthran and produced by Rani’s husband Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
