Mardaani 2 Box Office Collection: Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 2 has been running for over a month now in theatres and has turned out to be a successful affair at the ticket windows. It lost out on a considerable number of screens to biggies like Dabangg 3, Good Newwz, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Chhapaak but still managed to pull off some numbers and now is a certified ‘HIT’.
At the end 35 days of theatrical run i.e. 5 weeks, Mardaani 2 collection has accumulated a total of 47.51 crores. Made at an estimated cost of 23.50 crores, the film has earned an ROI of 24.01 crores to yield a profit of 102.17%. It is currently the 17th most profitable film in Koimoi’s Most Profitable Films Of 2019 by surpassing John Abraham’s Batla House in the list.

Meanwhile, debutant Vishal Jethwa, who plays a brutal serial rapist in “Mardaani 2“, said that prepping for the film was a painful process for him emotionally.

Vishal said, “I’m a very happy, social person so this character is a complete contrast to who I’m in real life. It was very, very hard for me to become Sunny but I knew I had to prove myself as an actor. The preparation for this film was a painful process for me emotionally,” reports IANS.
