Manjummel Boys Box Office: Registers Biggest Ever Opening For A Malayalam Film In Telugu

Manjummel Boys, after breaking almost all pre-existing box office records in the Malayalam film industry, is still achieving some glorious feats. Recently, the film marked its debut with its Telugu version, and it has created history by taking the biggest opening of all time for a Kollywood film. Keep reading to know more!

Directed by Chidambaram, the survival drama was originally released on 22nd February, and it opened to highly positive reviews from critics. Among audiences, it enjoyed extraordinary word-of-mouth, due to which the film has done exceptionally well at ticket windows. Now, the film is doing wonders in the Telugu states.

Coming to the box office update, Manjummel Boys has surpassed the recent Mollywood blockbuster by miles. For those who don’t know, Premalu sold over 10,000 tickets in Telugu states on its opening day, and it pulled off impressive numbers after that.

Speaking about Manjummel Boys’ performance in Telugu states, the film grossed 1.7 crores gross at the box office on its opening day, as per Track Tollywood’s report. It’s the biggest opening of all time for any Malayalam film, and in terms of footfalls, it sold over 35,000 tickets.

Coming to the total collection, Manjummel Boys has shattered several records, and it is still running successfully despite being in theatres for over one and a half months. So far, at the Indian box office, the film has amassed 129 crores net. In gross, it equals 152.22 crores gross. In the overseas market, the film did a business of 73 crores gross. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the worldwide box office collection stands at 225.22 crores gross.

Considering positive reception in the Telugu states, Manjummel Boys has a strong chance of scoring 250 crores gross at the worldwide box office. If it happens, the record will be hard to be broken.

Meanwhile, the film stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi Poduval, and others in key roles. It is produced by Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir, and Shawn Antony.
