Reception of Manjummel Boys
Directed by Chidambaram S Poduval, the film is a survival thriller and was released on 22nd February. Upon its release, the film received highly positive reviews from critics, with praise coming in for acting, direction, and other departments. The same was translated into word-of-mouth among audiences. As a result, a solid momentum was seen during the weekend, and the same continued during weekdays.
Manjummel Boys at the worldwide box office
The film has completed a run of 7 days in theatres, and after taking a start of 3.40 crores, it has earned an impressive total of 24 crores at the Indian box office. In gross, it equals 28.32 crores. In the overseas market, too, the survival thriller has turned out to be a huge success and so far, a collection of 23 crores gross has come in. Combining both, the worldwide box office collection stands at 51.32 crores gross.

With this feat, Manjummel Boys has become the third Malayalam film in 2024 to cross 50 crores gross at the worldwide box office, after Premalu and Bramayugam. With a superb pace intact, the film has a chance to hit the 100-crore milestone globally.
Creates history in Tamil Nadu
Apart from a strong run in Kerala, Manjummel Boys has also done exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu. As per Track Tollywood’s report, the film has accumulated around 2 crores, thus becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film in Tamil Nadu ever. At the current pace, it is aiming to cross 3 crores.
