Makkhi (Hindi Version) Fails to Leave any Mark at the Box Office

A super hit movie down south, Makkhi couldn’t keep up with the trend in its Hindi version. Like all the other Bollywood releases this week, Makkhi opened to a pretty disappointing opening day box office.

Day 1 box office collection of Makkhi was merely 0.45 Crores. The movie showed no considerable growth on its 2nd day and made about 0.60 Crores as per early estimates. The 2 days total of Makkhi is about 1.05 Crores.

It seems the movie will not be able to repeat its South Indian box office history and will end up with very poor numbers. 1st weekend total will not be more than 2 Crores and the lifetime should be about 5 Crores nett.

Good content is off late being hailed pretty well in Bollywood now-a-days and it is really unfortunate that such an interesting plot like that of Makkhi couldn’t meet a good box office fate.
