Lai Bhaari: Opening Day (Day 1) Box Office Collections

The Marathi drama ‘Lai Bhaari‘ opened with excellent numbers. Starring Riteish Deshmukh in his debut for Marathi cinema, the film had a smashing opening and collected 3.10 crores at the domestic box office.

With the biggest opening for a Marathi film,Lai Bhaari on its first day had the Mumbai multiplexes and single screens running housefull shows. While most Marathi films would have collected a total of 3 crores over its opening weekend, this film is creating history with its first day collections itself scoring this high.  Thanks to the Riteish Deshmukh’s recent success with Ek Villain, his Marathi debut too grabbed enough eyeballs.

This Nishikant Kamat film has opened new avenues for the Marathi cinema with such a opening trend. The film is expected to add more moolah over the weekend considering the positive responses it has received from all the critics and the film fraternity.
