Salman Khan is truly the Sikandar of Eid and nothing can take that charm away. On the day of Eid, he proved yet again why he rules the festival and the box office with his releases! His latest release, helmed by AR Murugadoss, is sharing screens in the South with Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan!

The buzz for both the films had a vast difference! While Mohanlal’s political action biggie helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran registered a ticket sale of 1.33 million in advance on BMS before the film arrived, Salman Khan’s film could manage only 281.2K pre-sales!
Sikandar Beats L2: Empuraan On Eid!
However, Salman Khan exuded his Eid charm, and Sikandar registered 17% higher ticket sales on Eid than Mohanlal’s film. L2: Empuraan, on Monday, March 31, registered a ticket sale of 252.74K. Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s film registered ticket sales of 297.42K on Monday, March 31, on BMS.
