American animated martial arts comedy film Kung Fu Panda 4 has taken a huge jump on day 2 from the opening day and is promising an adventure ride at the Indian Box Office. The film collected 2.25 crore on Day 1 and jumped by almost 80% on Day 2!
The film earned 4 crore on day 2, taking the grand total to 6.25 crore. However, it is expected that the film will get positive reviews and good word of mouth, and it might take the weekend total to somewhere close to 11 -12 crore.
A Further Jump On Sunday
This would mean that the film might take a further jump on Sunday, which will probably be the best-earning film currently after Ajay Devgn‘s Shaitaan, which is the top pick amongst all the releases running at the Indian Theaters.

Kung Fu Panda 4’s Opening In Pakistan & Bangladesh
While the Hollywood film collected 2.25 crore on its opening day in India, it opened at around 14.59 lakh ($17,613) in Bangladesh, 39.95 lakh ($48,203) in Pakistan, and around 61 lakh ($61,897) in Sri Lanka.
Kung Fu Panda 4’s Domestic Earnings
The film was released on March 8 in the US and many other parts of the world. Domestically, it has earned close to $86.55 million after an opening of $57.98 million.

The animated film, helmed by Mike Mitchell, is the fourth film of the Kung Fu Panda franchise, which presents the adventures of a Panda called Po. The official synopsis of Kung Fu Panda 4 read, “After Po is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior, while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.”
