Krrish 3 began sweepingly well at the domestic box office on its first day. Being a quasi holiday release, the film opened to a fantabulous start. Though the actual figures are in process of compilation, early trade estimates suggest that the film on its opening day has earned in the range of 19 crores at the domestic box office from its shows in Hindi along with its regional releases adding an additional 2 crores on to the film. The film’s domestic total stands at 21 crores.
It is only the film’s actual collections which will be able to confirm whether it has beaten the 1st day moolah of Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani or not. But being a festive release, the chances are mild given the fact that people are concentrating more on Diwali than catching the film. However, Krrish being a hit among kids, the film’s collections will surely see a lift today since it is a full blown holiday for adults and kids alike. The film is a neat and commercial family entertainer which is another added plus.
