Krrish 3: 3rd Weekend Box Office Collections

Krrish 3 on its 3rd Sunday earned 3.55 crores at the domestic box office. With that the film’s total income has now elevated itself to 234.50 crores. Standing as the highest grossing film in Bollywood so far, the film is now a box office hit. The lavish budget has hindered it from incurring heavy profits at the domestic box office which is only somber bit about the film’s performances.

Though the film has performed impeccably well in India, in overseas it has under-performed. The reason for it is rather simple. Though the idea of a superhero flick is lesser heard of in Bollywood, in Hollywood the concept is overused. Krrish 3 might be a bold product for us, but Hollywood has films of greater originality and potential. There is very little interest of international audiences on this film. Though on Koimoi’s Highest Worldwide Collections’ list Krrish 3 stands at the 3rd position, there is little chance that the film will be able to beat the global earnings of 3 Idiots which stands at a heavy 393 crores.
