Kill Dil seemed to have a below average start. The film collected 6.85 crores on its first Friday. The film starring Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar and Govinda in lead roles, was expected to have a good opening considering the fact that it was coming from the Yashraj banner.
The film, which was expected to perform best in the North circuits, made a low business out there. Only Delhi showed a good response for the film. Mumbai has shown a decent response but lower than expected.

The pre-release buzz for Kill Dil was good, other than the fact that it has received mixed reviews from critics. It may show a jump over the weekend if it enjoys a good positive word of mouth.
