Kick continued to perform good on its 6th Day i.e. 1st Wednesday. The film collected 21.60 crores nett yesterday, taking its 6 Days total to 148.3 crores at the domestic box office.
Interestingly, we had predicted that Day 6 could experience a minor drop and can manage to earn in the range of 15 crores (Read: Kick May Touch 200 Cr In 10 Days). However, surprisingly Kick surpassed our expectations and managed to add more numbers, despite heavy rains in Mumbai, from where the major chunk of collections come from!

In fact, Kick is also performing much better than last year’s Eid release, Chennai Express. Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express had made a business of around 137 crores after completing its six day’s run at the Domestic Box Office (Read: Chennai Express: 6th Day Business). These collections included the film’s paid previews too, which shows that the Salman Khan starrer is definitely going strong.

Overall it looks like it is a win-win situation for Kick.
