Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal unfortunately had a pretty poor opening day. The movie opened to as less as 15% audience footfall in most parts of the country. The other release this Friday OMG Oh My God! seems to have burnt holes in the opening day collection of Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal.

The movie did somewhat well in Maharashtra, thanks to the Nana Patekar effect. If we look at the mass belts of North India, the movie has done pretty poorly and will now need a magic to recover. A sequel to hit Bollywood flick Malamaal Weekly, it seems this one will fail to continue the benchmark set by its sequel.
