Join UsKabir Singh Box Office (Worldwide): While the buzz all around is of Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, there’s another movie that’s back in everyone’s mind – Shahid Kapoor’s first solo blockbuster affair, Kabir Singh. With every passing day, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is almost unaffected by any external reason and the proof of it is the massive collections it has garnered at the box office. But wait, there’s more as it just surpassed another Salman Khan & Ajay Devgn movie!
Kabir Singh till yesterday has added 255.89 crores nett in its kitty, which is humongous. It leads for the Indian gross collections as massive as 301.95 crores! Moreover, considering the unupdated numbers of overseas collections as 12 crores, the worldwide gross comes to 313.95 crores!
With these numbers, it has surpassed Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again with collections of 310.67 crores and Salman Khan’s last release, Bharat’s collections of 313.04 crores in the worldwide table. Now standing 26th in the list of Top Worldwide grossers, only time will tell what the verdict stands for this riotous love drama!
“Kabir Singh“, which casts Shahid as a self-destructive lover, is Shahid’s first solo superhit after R… Rajkumar in 2013. The film is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster “Arjun Reddy“, and draws heavy inspiration from the “Devdas” formula.

Ever since the film hit the screens on June 21, it has been slammed by many, especially women, for celebrating “toxic masculinity”. That, however, clearly does not seem to have affected the film’s box office prospects. The film has been a winner right from the start. Earlier when it crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in India, it became Shahid’s first solo-starring century grosser.
