Kabir Singh Box Office Day 3: The good run continued for the movie as it scored superbly on Sunday as well. If Friday and Saturday were good, Sunday was even better as collections turned out to be really huge. The film collected 27.91 crores more and with this the eventful opening weekend has come to a close.
The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer has collected 70.83 crores so far which is an excellent number for a medium budget film like this. A good chunk of investment has already been recovered through satellite, digital and music rights, and still theatrical numbers are turning out to be huge enough to ensure that a Superhit verdict is definitely on the cards.
While the makers could well be celebrating already, it has to be seen how much further does the film go from here. Even a 50% fall on Monday when compared to the Friday collections would ensure that at least 10 crores would come in. Normal trending from that point on would ensure that 100 crores would be in reach before the weekdays are through.

There are only two Hindi releases in 2019 that have crossed the 100 crore mark in the first week (Bharat and Kesari), and Kabir Singh could well be joining the elite group. This one has truly emerged as one of the biggest and most pleasant surprise success stories of 2019.
*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
