Jawaani Jaaneman Box Office: Saif Ali Khan, Alaya F, and Tabu starrer hit the theatre screens last Friday, and has been witnessing a decent trend ever since. The movie opened with 3.24 crores and has been gradually making its place amongst the audiences. Furthermore, there’s been competition from Saif’s own, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior along with Street Dancer 3D at the ticket windows.
Jawaani Jaanemen had added total collections of 7.79 crores over its first 2 days. The movie after a Saturday of 4.55 crores, further witnessed a jump. As per the early trends flowing in, Saif Ali Khan’s film has added another 5-6 crores in its kitty. This itself is good news for the team as the film has been consistent, despite the multiple biggies that are giving it a tough competition currently.

The overall weekend collections of Jawaani Jaaneman will now stand around 12.79-13.79 crores. Although post Tanhaji, one expected a better footfall and star pull for Saif Ali Khan in the first weekend itself, the real test begins from today and it will now be interesting to see how the movie fairs.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the rom-com Jawaani Jaaneman features Saif Ali Khan and Tabu as Alaya’s on-screen father and mother respectively.
Sharing her experience working with such two talented senior actors, Alaya F said: “Initially, I was intimidated by them but they never made me feel I am their junior. Both of them are extremely motivating and inspiring. There are loving people. There’s so much to learn from them.”
“I like to do stuff myself, be it taking any decision or anything else, I generally take my own call. I believe in ‘sabki suno lekin apni karo’ (listen to everyone but take your own call). It does not mean that I don’t take the advice my mother or my grandfather (Kabir Bedi) give me about films. I do discuss things with them, but at the end of the day it would be my decision. I am quite critical about myself,” Alaya further shared.
