Jabariya Jodi Box Office Day 1: Opens On Expected Lines!

The film has seen a decent release for itself and also benefits from the fact that there is no real competition around it.

Jabariya Jodi Box Office Day 1: Jabariya Jodi was always expected to open in the range of 3-4 crores. This is what happened as well, what with 3.15 crores coming on the first day. The film was never really in line to take a thunderous opening and it was all going to boil down to word of mouth.

The film has seen a decent release for itself and also benefits from the fact that there is no real competition around it. Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw has slowed down, The Lion King is bringing numbers on the lower side, Super 30 is now running at limited number of shows and last week’s release Khaandaani Shafakhaana is out of theaters. This means if audience feedback turns out to be positive for Jabariya Jodi, there could well be a good jump today and tomorrow.

This is what would decide how the eventual weekend turns out to be for this Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer. That would be necessary too since the Ekta Kapoor production primarily has six days for itself and it needs to do really well in this time duration so that there can be screens available for it post Thursday arrival of Mission Mangal and Batla House.
