Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan was doing great business at the Domestic as well as Overseas Box Office till last week. However, the collection started affecting badly to a major extent in its third weekend. Reason? Due to the release of Aamir Khan’s much awaited film of the year – Talaash.
It was earlier predicted by the trade analysts that the release of Talaash and later with Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi 786 arriving back to back will occupy large screen space for themselves, ultimately resulting to a bad business fate for the Yash Chopra directorial.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan in its 3rd weekend made a business of approximately 2 crores nett. The movie now stands at a domestic total of 119.05 crores at the Box Office. This may end up being the last breath for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer at the Domestic front, as this week’s release Khiladi 786 will halt its business completely.
JTHJ may now find difficult to move up the ladder in Koimoi Top 10 India Box Office 2012 and beat Barfi!’s collections. Watch this space for more!
