Jab Tak Hai Jaan made about 11 Crores as per early estimates at the domestic box office. The movie now stands at a total of about 60 Crores. JTHJ has also been doing pretty well at the overseas box office and is sure to be a hit there.
The movie continued its trend of holding up pretty well at the multiplexes in Metros. However, it showed no considerable improvement in mass belts and Mumbai Circuit continues to be its best.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan will need to show some good jump at the domestic office to make it to 100 Crores in record time. It will thus heavily rely on Saturday and Sunday box office collections to record some amazing numbers in its 1st weekend box office.
The fact that it released with another Bollywood Biggie, i.e. Son of Sardaar is sure effecting its box office journey now. Whether it was a wise move or not only time will tell, but for now both the movies are burning huge holes into each others box office collections.
However, it might come as some relief to Jab Tak Hai Jaan that it is doing exceptionally well at the overseas box office.
