Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Is Now A ‘Hit’

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania on its 2nd Friday made 3.22 crores at the box office. Taking its total to 56.52 crores, the film’s performance at the numbers department has been stellar.

This Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer was made on an estimated budget of 28 crores and with the second Friday collections coming its way, the film has doubled its investment. Touted as the new age DDLJ, this film was a fresh rendering of the cult 1995 rom-com.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has now beaten Heropanti and Main Tera Hero‘s lifetime business. The film now stands at 8th position at Koimoi’s Top 10 Highest Grossers of 2014.
