Join UsAyushmann Khurrana’s Bala is in the news for quite some time now, both due to positive and negative reasons. The movie was in feud with Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman over the similarities in the poster and plot. After getting a green signal on a legal front, the movie is all set to arrive in cinemas on a good note.
Despite all the controversies, Bala is enjoying a good buzz amongst movie buffs and same could be seen in Koimoi’s ‘How’s The Hype’ section too with 2254 votes coming in.

Pyaar Toh Tha: Unlike Ayushmann’s last release Dream Girl, Bala‘s music has failed in creating a lasting impact. Coming to recently released Jubin Nautiyal-Asees Kaur’s Pyaar Toh Tha track, it fetched just 137 votes but managed to garner appreciation from 79% voters.
Don’t Be Shy: It’s a recreation of 2004 hit single of Rouge and Dr.Zeus. The new version is crooned by Badshah and Shalmali Kholgade, featuring the trio of Ayushmann, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. Around 77% people voted in the favour of the song.
Bala trailer: Just like Ayushmann’s every other movie trailer, Bala too kept the viewers hooked up with its lightly prod dialogues, puns and comic timing. Also, the theme of premature balding received praises. It is liked by 89% voters.

Bala posters: Before the trailer release, four posters of the movie were unveiled with one which stirred a controversy with its similarities with Ujda Chaman. While one of those four posters showed Ayushmann treating his baldness with desi treatments, others were solo posters of the trio. They recorded a positive response from around 83% netizens.
Bala teaser: Teaser featuring SRK’S iconic Deewana bike scene and Ayushmann lip syncing Koi Na Koi Chahiye and later the wind swaying away his cap to expose the bald spot, was quite amusing. It hinted of something exciting and new offering just like actor’s earlier releases. Around 89% participants liked the teaser.
On the whole, Bala received a THUMBS UP from 86% voters, clearly indicating the pre-release hype and positivity around the project. Now, with Housefull 4 slowing down a bit, the movie is set to take a decent start at the box office. Also, the credibility of Ayushmann might help it to take an exceeding start just like Dream Girl.
