After the months of anticipation, Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is all set to take off, although on the digital medium. The film is in the news since inception and everyone is excited to witness the performance of the newbie. A couple of days ago, the trailer was dropped and the reception is quite impressive.
Speaking about the trailer, Gunjan Saxena traces the journey of a fearless girl who dreams to become a pilot in Indian Air Force. The trailer is highly impressive with Janhvi raising her bar post-Dhadak debut. The bond between father (played by Pankaj Tripathi) and daughter too seems a highlight point. Plus, the thrilling elements of Kargil War’s backdrop add the punch.

Based on the truly inspiring story of the only woman to be part of the Kargil War and first female Shaurya Chakra awardee, Gunjan Saxena is slated to release on 12th August 2020 on Netflix.
