After the poor display of Love Aaj Kal, the audience is up for two different kinds of content in the form of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Vicky Kaushal’s Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship, arriving tomorrow. While the former one is looking up to good start at the box office, the latter too has managed to create a decent noise amongst its targeted chunk of viewers.
Let’s take a look at how Bhoot is faring in Koimoi’s ‘How’s The Hype?‘ section:

The trailer introduces us to a surveying officer (Vicky) on the ship – Sea Bird. Sea-Bird is a mysterious ship that floated on the shore of Juhu beach Mumbai and Vicky is on a mission to figure out how that happened when there was no one in the ship. The trailer glimpsed up with few spine chilling moments and promises to be a horror fest. It received appreciation from 75% of our audience.
Teaser:
In the teaser, we can see Vicky raiding the ship and following the handprints on the walls of the ship. He is stunned to discover his face printed on the walls. Lost in thought, Vicky is further pulled by mysterious hands inside the wall. Spooky isn’t it?
It impressed 77% of our voters.
Last two posters:
Before treating us with a teaser, the makers released the final two posters of the film. The first one features screaming Vicky covered with hands trying to pull him down while he is struggling to escape the grip. The second one shows clueless Vicky looking for a doll from under the bed with the ghost behind him. Around 82% of people liked both the posters.

Poster (underwater):
It showcases Vicky drowned in water in a dark room of a broken ship as there’s a ghost holding him back while he’s struggling to make his way out. It fetched likes from 81% of our audience.
First look poster:
Way back in June last year, the first look was unveiled by the makers. It features Vicky looking extremely terrified and screaming his guts out. The look received a nod from 79% of people.
On the whole, Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship has received a THUMBS UP from 79% of cine buffs here. Surprisingly, the film has seen limited promotions despite being Dharma Productions’ flick but it could be a part of a strategy to not let anything special to go out. Hopes are very much on to be treated with some really heart thumping content!
