Bala starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar is one of the most anticipated films releasing on November 7. The film has been surrounded by a pool of controversies but that hasn’t stopped the makers to keep the fans excited for the film. After a hilarious trailer and two very upbeat songs – Don’t Be Shy and Naah Goriye, the team released a slow sad song titled Pyaar Toh Tha.
Pyaar Toh Tha featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar will be a rather mellow affair as it captures the pain of heartbreak. Ayushmann can be seen reminiscing about his time with Yami Gautam while a new romance between him and Bhumi is also seen in the song. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song comes to life in the melodious voices of Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur. Priya Saraiya’s simple yet evocative lyrics just set the mood of the song.

Don’t Be Shy From Bala On ‘How’s The Hype?’: BLOCKBUSTER Or Lacklustre? VOTE NOW!
After an interesting trailer and first look posters, the makers of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala have released the first song from the movie titled Don’t Be Shy. It’s a recreation of 2004 hit single by Rouge and Dr Zeus.
The new version is crooned by Badshah and Shalmali Kholgade. The beats are jazzy and nostalgic. Ayushmann is looking cute in his bald avatar, Bhumi’s dark colour tone is unmissable and Yami got us that 90’s touch.

The newly released trailer has now made it to Koimoi’s ‘How’s The Hype?’ section. The trailer is packed with really lightly prod dialogues, puns and comic timing. Ayushmann’s character suffers from premature balding and lacks confidence due to his appearance. How he deals with it and marries the girl of his dreams (Yami Gautam) is what will keep the audience hooked to the trailer. Ayushmann is yet again playing the frustrated guy and we think it never gets too old.

The trailer carries many jokes that are really hilarious and burst you with laughter. Bhumi Pednekar plays a girl with a dark complexion and she seems to be playing a character that challenges the ego of Bala and motivates him to get over the physical insecurities. Yami Gautam adds the “beauty” factor in the trailer and promises yet another interesting character in the film.

In one of the posters we see Ayushmann watering his seldom left hair and in another one everyone surround him with a ‘desi’ treatment to grow hair. Also, the posters featuring Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar were unveiled.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala teaser was released last month and it’s been garnering positive response since then. With Dream Girl running riot at the box office, Ayushmann’s script sense has been touted as the best in the Bollywood right now.
The teaser video begins with Ayushmann recreating SRK’S iconic “Deewana” bike stunt. He can be seen happily riding a bike and aping Shah Rukh’s signature steps on the latter’s hit song “Koi na koi chahiye”. But his joy lasted for a few seconds only as a strong wind passed and revealed his semi-bald head. “It’s time to make some bold, oops bald moves,” Ayushmann captioned the teaser video.

The song also quickly changes to Rajesh Khanna’s “Yeh jo mohabbat hai”, showcasing Ayushmann’s vulnerable side. Directed by Amar Kaushik, “Bala” revolves around a prematurely balding man, which is being essayed by Ayushmann.
