The animated film How To Train Your Dragon 2 had a decent second weekend in India at the Box Office. The film collected 50 lacs on 2nd Friday, 80 lacs on 2nd Saturday and 1 crore on 2nd Sunday. It raked in a total of 2.3 crores on its second weekend. With this, the film’s total collections are 10.16 crores at the India box office.

While animation films have a decent audience in India, this film was expected to do a better business. Coming from the Fox Star Studios banner, the film has performed successfully just like their previous animated film Rio 2 which also received great responses in the Indian circuit.

Since the first installment of ‘How To Train Dragon 2‘ was also a successful venture, the sequel too has benefited from the same. The makers have claimed it as a Hit.
