Join UsHousefull 4 Box Office: Farhad Samji’s comic caper Housefull 4 is surviving the negative critical acclaim as family audiences are pouring their love for Akshay Kumar and team’s mad comedy. As per advance booking trends, the day after the Diwali vacation is witnessing a considerable dip but the morning occupancy reports are on the positive side.
Today i.e. on Day 6, Housefull 4 has opened on a promising note with morning occupancy in the range of 18-21%, which is quite steady when compared to opening day’s 25-28%. One could say that the decent word-of-mouth from its targeted family audience is doing the talks. While the advance booking trends are not-so-good, the spot bookings are helping the movie a big time. It will be interesting to see, how the movie gathers the pace during evening and night shows.
Coming to H4’s box office journey, the movie has already minted 111.82 crores in first 5 days. It has crushed down the competitors- Saand Ki Aankh and Made In China.
Meanwhile, Filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala has criticised trade analyists for sharing inflated and inaccurate box office figures.
“Isn’t it time everyone reports Box Office numbers accurately! @KomalNahta @taran_adarsh … accuracy of information builds credibility which the movie industry needs so badly… and not sure how long-to appease egos will Studios and all keep encouraging pumped up data on numbers,” Screwvala wrote.

Many felt that the tweet was cryptically aimed at the latest release “Housefull 4“, which made over Rs 100 crore in just five days of its release.
However, the producer then clarified that the tweet was not directed to any movie.
