Housefull 4 Box Office Day 17: Has Yet Another Good Weekend; All Eyes On 200 Crore Club Entry

Housefull 4 Box Office: Housefull 4 scored well over the third weekend as Sunday collections soared further to 4.35 crores. By and large it was a good weekend for the Bollywood films at the box office since Bala has scored quite well already with Housefull 4 chipping in as well.

Of course, had the collections been even higher, the 200 Crore Club milestone would well have been accomplished by the Sajid Nadiadwala production in 17 days flat. Nonetheless, currently it stands at 198.83 crores and it will now end up achieving the feat by tomorrow, which is the 18th day, and that’s good enough as well. There are hardly any films that manage to score a double century and no Bollywood flick in history has managed to do that with the kind of negativity that was surrounding it on the weekend of release.

Once the film is through with its run, it would be quite interesting to do a case study on what led to all the bashing that the Akshay Kumar led film received from practically all quarters and still without any media or industry support, it actually ended up becoming a major success on the basis of audience word of mouth and appreciation.
