Housefull 3 Enjoys A Very Good Opening Weekend At The Box Office

Housefull 3 has seen good collections in its first three days. The film started on a decent note, picked up well towards the evening/night shows on Friday, saw good escalation on Saturday and then went on to collect even higher on Sunday.

In fact the film also enjoyed the highest Sunday of 2016 by bringing in 21.80 crore, hence going past Fan [17.75 crore] and Akshay’s own Airlift [17.35 crore].

As a result, the collections stand at 53.31 crores. A constant rise in footfalls pretty much indicates that the audiences have liked the film much more than what some of the critics had to say about it. It is clear that audience was looking for some funny entertainment and that’s something which the Sajid-Farhad film has managed to provide.

For producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Eros, the stage is now set for the film to consolidate over the rest of the week. It is practically the only film in the running with no competition from Bollywood or Hollywood.

With as many as 3700 screens running the film, audience has ample options available to give the multi-starrer a dekko. To begin with, it would be interesting to see how Monday holds up. Since summer vacations are on, the numbers are expected to be reasonably high, which would further help the film enjoy continued run in days to follow.
