Horror Story has remained stable at the box office despite Grand Masti performing exceedingly well. Made on a modest budget, the film on its 1st Monday and Tuesday accumulated a moolah of 1.50 crores at the box office. The film in its 1st five days run has managed to make an income of 3.50 crores at the domestic box office.

With a host of young stars, the film worked mainly for Vikram Bhatt’s expertise in the genre of horror films. After delivering brilliant films like Haunted and Raaz series, in Horror Story, he revisited the genre with a reinvigorated gusto. The film has held on well at the box office for its ability to scare the audiences with its scary premise.
