Highway : 2nd Weekend Box Office Collections

Highway experienced a considerable drop on its second weekend. The film collected 3.25 crores, thus taking the film’s ten day collections to an approx of 24.25 crores at the domestic box office.

While the film did not receive an overwhelming response from the critics, it was riding on the word of mouth publicity. Actors Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda managed to get compliments on their performances from the film fraternity, but the film could not engage the audiences. This Imtiaz Ali film which was based on the premise of Stockholm syndrome could only target the urban circuits.

Also with the release of Shaadi Ke Side Effects which got favorable responses from the audience as well as critics, Highway lost out on its weekend business to this film.
