Heropanti on its 1st Saturday at the domestic box office earned in the range of 6.35 crores at the domestic box office as per the early estimates. Remaining nearly consistent even on its 1st Saturday, the film’s total collections so far stands at 12.85 crores at the draw of its two days’ run at the domestic box office.

While the cumulative figure seems impressive, the hitch is that the film’s numbers did not grow even on the weekend, rather saw a minimal drop. Despite performing well in the single screens, the film suffered a beating in the urban zones and multiplexes where X- Men:Days Of Future Past is performing better than both the other releases from the week. However, Kochadaiyaan’s occupancy suggests a better fare in Tamil Nadu than the rest of India, Heropanti was not as much affected by Kochadaiyaan as much as the Hollywood franchise flick.

The film will surely come off with a stable opening weekend income(enough to earn back the film’s investment), hindering it’s growth primarily is the ongoing IPL Season that’s in its concluding leg, and is grabbing more of audiences attention than the films.
