The penultimate installment of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows (Part 1), earned a whopping £8,344,776 in its second week at the box-office taking its total to £33,257,880. The Denzel Washington starrer Unstoppable came in distant second with box-office collections of £1,714,871. Colin Farrell’s London Boulevard collected £5,77,224 in their first week and took the third place.
Warner Bros.’ Due Date collected £2,41,944 in its fourth week, taking its four week total collections to £9,208,287. The new film, The American, starring George Clooney, came in at no. five with collections of £4,11,707.
Universal Studios’ animation flick Despicable Me landed a cool £2,41,944 in its 7th week at the UK box-office taking its total to £19,394,633. The new Swedish crime-thriller Luftslottet som sprängdes collected £2,19,259 while the TV show spin-off Jackass 3D made £1,19,369 in its fourth week. The sci-fi thriller Skyline collected £92,931 in its 3rd week taking its total to £2,645,267. Machete brought in £90,423 in its debut week.
