Happy New Year Grosses 255.5 Crs Worldwide; Beats Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s Record

Happy New Year is performing extremely well so far. The film has collected 136.86 crores nett at the domestic box office, that takes its Gross total to 197 crores. Adding up its Overseas total of 58.50 crores, the film has now grossed 255.50 crores worldwide which is excellent.

The film has now beaten the worldwide collections of Jab Tak Hai jaan which stood with a collection of 241 crores. Happy New Year was expected to show a good performance in the overseas considering the huge appeal that Shah Rukh Khan has.

The film after five days has collected 9.75 million in the overseas market. Happy New Year being the big Diwali release has cashed in good on the festive spirit truly.
